On Thrills
Live 8到达EDINBURGH最后一站，现场比伦敦更加自如和轻松，The Proclaimers的开场让人忍俊不禁，没有人有这对满口苏格兰口音的一模一样的中年双胞胎百分之一的可爱，Wet Wet Wet据说是英国最美的男声，可是阿湿真的老了，令人心碎的白头发和胡茬，随着演出乐队一一登场，夜幕逐渐降落，bono一言罢了（The Edge实在很酷），左撇子Bob Geldof在下雨前最后一个金身不湿，接着上来一个陌生的年轻乐队，让我印象深刻的是，他们个个清瘦清秀，脸上带着不可言喻的羞涩而由衷的微笑。
他们的名字：the thrills。
主场哥哥灰色小西装，虽然满脸大胡子，但是I bet他如果刮掉的话，一定和他的鼓手和贝斯和吉他和键盘一样清秀，唱的一首santa cruz，很特别的声音，沙哑的音域在沧桑的味道不失青涩。清脆的吉他声玲珑有致，混着轻快的电子，伴随铃鼓和口琴，美妙的合声，呈现出有如呼吸空气般清新自然，纯真朴实的民谣摇滚风。
随着歌曲高潮的来临，奇异的事情发生了，大雨倾盆而下，镜头前水帘如注，天色瞬间变暗，感觉简直high翻了！主唱哥哥走到台前，灰色小西装上霎那间道道水迹。
开始揣测他们的来历，非常清晰的英语发音，绝非苏格兰人所能，略微卷舌，但看外表又不像美国人，正在此时，一个近景过来，推向主唱哥哥，透过现象看本质，黑色的头发，翠绿的眼睛，木棉花一般的皮肤，纤细潮湿的手指，我想起了乱世佳人，一个典型的爱尔兰人的脸孔。
Hoho竟然还给我猜对了！主唱哥哥用少见的华丽丽的排比句型说：
what an absolute privilege it is to be playing in the beatiful city of edinburgh!
what an absolute privilege it is to be coming on after 2 Irish legends——bono and bob geldof!
Irish and Scottish Crowds are the best in the world!
I’ve one simple question to ask, one simple question.
If you are having a good time and want to make poverty history,
回头看一眼鼓手，接着说：
Please make some FUCKING NOISE!!!
与此同时，鼓手敲出最激动地鼓点，scottish crowds证明他们的优秀，同时大雨做着最好的伴奏。
然后下了The Thrills的这张"So Much For The City."，充满阳光、海滩、活力，音乐里融合着清脆的吉他，各种乐器合作无间...
最喜欢的仍然是这首santa cruz:
